<p>National Security Minister and Cabinet member Itamar Ben Gvir commented on Israel’s strike in Iran, saying: “The State of Israel is now carrying out an operation that has been planned for months. I stand with the IDF soldiers and all branches of the security forces. All agencies—police, prison service, fire services—are prepared and ready for any scenario.”</p><p>He added, “The entire People of Israel are united in this just campaign against a cruel enemy that seeks our destruction.”</p><p>Ben Gvir concluded with a biblical quote: “Blot out the memory of Amalek.</p>

<p>Rafael Grossi, the Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed that the Natanz nuclear facility in Iran was hit, adding that the agency is "closely monitoring" the situation.</p>

<p>Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, responded to the Israeli strikes on Iran and threatened, "The Zionist regime must expect severe punishment."</p><p>"The strong hand of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic will not relent. In the enemy’s attacks, several commanders and scientists were killed. Their successors and colleagues will immediately continue carrying out their missions, God willing," he stated.</p><p>"Through this crime, the Zionist regime has sentenced itself to a bitter and cruel fate — and it will undoubtedly receive it," added Khamenei.</p>

<p>Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a recorded statement from an underground compound where he is currently located, “We are coming off a very successful opening strike, and with God’s help - we are going to achieve many significant accomplishments.”</p><p>He added, “It may be necessary to remain in protected areas for an extended period.”</p>
