<p>84-year-old Elma Avraham, who was released yesterday from Hamas captivity, is hospitalized in Soroka Medical Center in very serious condition. Avraham was returned to Israel directly from the Gaza Strip by helicopter to the hospital in Be'er Sheva, where doctors are now fighting for her life.</p>

<p>The Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani told the <em>Financial Times</em> that Hamas must locate at least 40 hostages who are being held by other groups in the Gaza Strip in order to extend the ceasefire.</p>

<p>Daoud Shihab, a senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative, told <em>Al Jazeera</em> that his organization is interested and supports the expansion of the deal to return hostages.</p><p>According to him, "In return for every abducted Israeli civilian, it is demanded that Israel free three Palestinian prisoners. Regarding soldiers, the price will be different. We will not agree to extend the truce in return for calm."</p>
